Sales and Delivery Conditions

The following applies in relation to a reservation at Drejby Strand Camping either via online booking, email, or phone.

DSC is used below as a synonym for Drejby Strand Camping.

Payment

All prices in DSC’s online booking system are – like elsewhere on the website – inclusive of VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment is made by using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards in online booking, alternatively by transfer to the bank account number provided in the booking confirmation.

Information about online booking

You can safely shop on the internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are generally protected against any misuse of your credit card on the internet, so there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. Shipping and Delivery

When booking a rental unit (spot for your own caravan or tent, holiday cabin, or holiday apartment), you will receive a booking confirmation by email containing information about the unit booked, date and time of arrival and departure, and the account of the purchase as well as terms and conditions for the stay.

Delivery of the booked unit occurs upon arrival at DSC on the day of arrival and ends upon departure on the day of departure.

Cancellation and Refund

When booking, it is possible to choose between Basic, Flex, or Premium terms. The choice must be made at the time of booking. It is not possible to switch to another service after the first payment. Changing a booking is understood as the cancellation, change of accommodation type, number of people, or dates of your stay. Flex and Premium terms are a dynamic service calculated based on the total amount of the booking.

Terms for Changing a Booking

  • Basic terms mean that you cannot rebook, cancel or get a refund for your booking.
  • Flex terms mean that you can rebook or cancel up to 28 days before arrival. An administrative fee is charged for each change made to the booking. Booking changes can only be made in writing (info@drejby.dk) and are effective from the time DSC receives the email. The amount for Flex is not refunded upon cancellation or change.
  • Premium terms mean that you can rebook or cancel until 12.00 noon the day before arrival. An administrative fee is charged for each change made to the booking. Booking changes can only be made in writing (info@drejby.dk) and are effective from the time DSC receives the email. The amount for Premium is not refunded upon cancellation or change.

Right of Cancellation

A booking with DSC is not covered by the Danish Consumer Contracts Act´s / “Forbrugeraftaleloven” rules on the right of cancellation. The sale of accommodation (camping, cabins, holiday apartments, summer houses, etc.) is covered by a special exemption provision in the Danish Consumer Contracts Act´s § 18 subsection 2 letter l. The booking is thus not covered by a 14-day right of cancellation.

Force Majeure-Like Conditions

If the execution of the lease agreement is not possible – or significantly hindered – due to force majeure or similar conditions, including but not limited to: war, riots, natural disasters, oil and gas rationing, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics, cessation of currency trading, unusual weather conditions, drought, flooding, border closure, traffic conditions, strike, lockout and the like, which could not be foreseen at the conclusion of the lease agreement, Drejby Strand Camping is entitled to cancel the lease agreement as Drejby Strand Camping cannot be held responsible in the mentioned cases.

In such cases, Drejby Strand Camping is obliged to notify the renter as soon as possible. The renter is not entitled to a refund of amounts paid. The renter will receive a credit note for the paid amount. The credit note can be used to purchase a new stay within a two-year period.

Registration of Information

DSC registers your name, address, email, and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer directory. The information is not passed on, but the registration is kept for 5 years.

DSC uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.

When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.

Complaints

If for any reason you do not receive your booking confirmation and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address below or contact DSC at the phone number.

Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself, or the stay otherwise must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error by reviewing your booking confirmation.

You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receiving the goods (the stay), the right to complain pursuant to the Danish Sale of Goods Act´s / “Købeloven” § 83 subsection 1 expires. DSC will process your complaint as soon as possible after receiving it and will decide whether the received goods should be refunded, exchanged, or a price reduction should be granted.

If the complaint is to be submitted to an external complaints body, contact: “Center for klageløsning”. If no satisfactory solution is found, you can complain to: “Forbrugerklagenævnet”, which makes a legal decision.
